Kingston Revs Up 1.2GHz and 1.15GHz HyperX DDR-2 Memory
Factory-Tested PC9600

Harder-than-hardcore PC gamers and overclocking enthusiasts can get a new fix: the DDR-2/1200 performance of Kingston Technology Co.'s newest and fastest DDR-2 memory. Both Kingston's HyperX PC9600 (1.2GHz) and PC9200 (1.15GHz) DIMM modules survive 24 hours of burn-in reliability testing before shipping. Each features CL5-5-5-15 at 2.3-2.35V and CAS 5 latency.

Single and matched-pair 512MB DDR-2/1150 modules are priced at $137 and $273, respectively, with 1GB DDR-2/1150 costing $259 for one and $518 for two sticks. Stepping up to DDR-2/1200 costs $139 for a single and $278 for a pair of 512MB modules, with a single 1GB module and matched-pair 2GB kit priced at $263 and $525, respectively.
